LMU-DCOM Earns Top Rankings in U.S. News & World Report

Medical students at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine

Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) has achieved top rankings by U.S. News & World Report. The college has placed 9th among the top medical schools for producing graduates who practice in primary care and 15th among schools for graduates working in Health Professional Shortage Areas.

“This recognition underscores our mission to enhance access to quality health care and exemplifies our ongoing effort to make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve,” said Dr. Christopher Loyke, dean and chief academic officer.

U.S. News worked with the Robert Graham Center, a division of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), as the data provider to measure how medical schools are performing on key health care issues.

LMU-DCOM’s ranking of 9th for primary care is a testament to the robust curriculum and commitment to producing graduates who excel in essential health care roles. The 15th place ranking for graduates working in Health Professional Shortage Areas further underscores the college’s impact in addressing disparities in health care access.

“It’s a proud moment for us and reaffirms our dedication to training compassionate, skilled professionals who make a real difference in the field of medicine,” Loyke said.
